Words, a beautiful collection of alphabets. Words, the most powerful weapon, that can be used to win wars without shedding blood and hearts without spending a dime. That's what Mr. Amitesh Misra, Mr. Nikhil Tiwari thought when they first introduced Shabd.in to the country in 2015, then called Shabdnagari. Shabdnagari was originally started as a Hindi social networking site so as to let the Hindi speaking audience connect with like minded people and share their thoughts. The lack of purely Hindi social sites, especially in the field of literature has brought quite a lot of traffic on the website. The company also got recognition as well as seed funding from IIT Kanpur. The site was relaunched as Shabd in 2021, and this time the company not only focuses on Hindi, or English but eyes to go multilingual in almost all major Indian languages.
